Fresh Juice For Colds & Flu

My family has so thoughtfully been sharing around a cold over the last little while. A week after getting hit with it, I am just now over it and let me tell you, boy was it a doozy! Stuffy nose, headache, sinus pain, cough, sore throat, you name it I had it. My brother tried this juice when he had the cold and said it really helped him so I figured it probably wouldn’t hurt me to try it either.

First of all, it felt AMAZING on my sore throat. I really think it did help my cold overall too. After a steaming mug of this juice the night before, I woke up less congested the following morning. When I finally wasn’t so congested and could taste things again, I was surprised at how yummy it actually was. One night I made two cups of it just because it was so good! I will definitely be keeping this recipe in my back pocket for any future colds! IMG_19602*From “The Funky Fresh Juice Book” by Jason Vale
